Everytime you make recommendations, get connected or start following a company, your status updates and informs your connections to what you have done.
If you are employed and do not want your employer to know that you have been looking for a job you need to turn off your activity broadcasts before conducting a search.
To do this.
Go to your name at the top right of the page (Hover over it, this will give you a drop down menu) and click on settings
Go to and select Turn on/off your activity broadcasts
You will then have the pop up, uncheck the tick box and save changes
Your broadcast activity will be turned off
