Twitter for Android has been updated and the changes that can be seen on the new Twitter desktop version have been integrated into it.
The first thing that is noticed is the tabs have changed names
And in now is Home, @connect #Discover and me
@Connect interactions and mentions
The new tab @Connect gives you two tabs at the bottom Interactions and Mentions
The interactions tab displays who has started following you, who has retweeted any of your tweets and who has mentioned you.
Mentions display only the @mentions you have been named in
#Discover
This is the new search function where you can search by #hashtag or keyword it also gives you top stories that you can view all tweets about and also the latest trends, find friends and browse categories
Me
This is your profile where it displays your real name and @twittername, how many tweets you have made how many tweeter you are following and how many followers you have.
This is where you can view your direct messages, lists, drafted tweets by you, saved searches and switch account
You can view your direct messages by touching on the direct message tabs
Your drafts tweets
Your lists you have created and if you want to create a new list
